Hello I'm Cyndel.

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to understanding people and asking the deeper questions about life. Even as a little girl, I was the happiest creating "potions" in my backyard, imagining angels and dragons, and getting lost in a world of wonder and possibility.

I also remember telling people that the world felt loud. Looking back, I now understand that I was incredibly sensitive to people's emotions, to energy and to the environments around me. Crowded places often left me overwhelmed, and my body would express what I couldn't yet put into words through stomach aches and a deep need for quiet. Solitude wasn't something I feared, it was where I felt most at peace.

As a teenager, life became more difficult. I struggled mentally and physically and found myself searching for answers that seemed just out of reach. During that time, my grandmother gave me a book by Louise Hay. It was more than just a book, it was the beginning of a completely different  way of seeing myself and the world. It was my "aha' moment.

From there, I began a journey of self-discovery . I filled journals with the same painful memories, beliefs, and experiences over and over again. Then one day, something unexpected happened. I wrote about a memory that had hurt me for years and instead of feeling pain, I smiled and I even laughed.

Not because what happened no longer mattered but because it no longer had power over me.

That moment changed everything . I realized healing wasn't about forgetting the past. It was about changing my relationship with it. As I reshaped my core beliefs and continued exploring my inner world, I discovered that true transformation begins from within.

Years later, life invited me into another season of growth through chronic illness. Like many people facing unexpected challenges, I grieved the person I had been before. In time, I came to see that even this chapter held it's own lessons. It invited me to slow down, reconnect with myself and discover strengths that had always been within me.

That experience taught me one of the most important lessons I carry into my work today: Healing isn't about eliminating the darkness, it's about learning to hold both the light and the darkness with compassion.

Today, through The Authentic Way, I offer a space where your journey is honoured exactly as it is.

No two people are the same, so no two sessions are either. There is no single path to healing or spiritual growth. My role is to walk beside you, offering a safe space to explore whatever is calling you, helping you uncover your own wisdom, one step at a time.
